Questions people ask

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The events are completely free: no membership, no fees. Just buy your own coffee to support the local venues.

Do I need to book?

Yes please. Booking a free ticket on Eventbrite helps us and the venue know numbers. If you can no longer make it, cancel your ticket so someone else can come.

Can I come on my own?

Most people do. A host will say hello when you arrive and introduce you to someone, so you're never left standing alone.

Is it salesy?

No. There are no elevator pitches, no referral quotas and no pressure to sell. It's an informal coffee and a chat with other local business people.

Who is it for?

Anyone in business: owners, founders, freelancers, side-hustlers, or people still thinking about starting. All sectors welcome.

Where in Newcastle is it held?

The venue rotates each month to support different local independents, from the Quayside to Grainger Town, always staying within 5 minutes of the train station. The exact venue and address are on each event's Eventbrite page.

Who makes this possible?

Free events stay free because of the sponsors behind them. Thank you.
